Cesar Asebedo was born in Torrance, California. He’s been involved in the health food industry for over a decade trying to live his healthiest life. The catalysts for his vegan journey were the documentaries “Forks Over Knives” and “Vegucated.” With a history of heart disease and diabetes in my family he knew that his health was at risk. He also couldn’t imagine the horrors of the animal agriculture industry, especially having furry friends at home. Overnight he decided to transition to veganism. Now he’s been vegan alongside his mom who is also an animal rights activist for over 7 years!
Activism is a daily occurrence for Cesar. Whether it is organizing vigils with Animal Alliance Network and events, posting on social media, or even a simple conversation that could change lives, Cesar’s passion shines through. He also enjoys like listening to music, creating artwork, exploring nature, and cheffing it up in the kitchen. He also loves spending time with family and friends. He tells everyone going vegan is a win for all. The animals get to live, people get to live, and the planet flourishes for all future generations.
